Kivitasku cabin has space for at least 8 person and is well equipped. Cabin has 2 bedrooms, a convertible bed for two in the upstairs lobby and a sofa bed in the living room. The double beds shown in the bedroom photos can be separated into single beds. The cabin also has a kitchen, a wood-heated sauna, a toilet, a bathroom, a balcony and a covered terrace. After a bath, a dip in the fresh water of Lake Härkäjärvi is only a few steps away, about 20 meters from the cabin.

The beach is also perfect for children. It is sand-based and child-friendly. There is a campfire place in the yard where you can grill sausage or fish. Lake Härkäjärvi is a very fishy lake and catches pike, perch, bream and roach. When renting Kivitasku cabin, you will also have two boats and fishing gears included in the rental price.

The surrounding areas and nature of the cabin also offer excellent hiking, berry and mushroom picking opportunities. In winter, activities like skiing to Häkärinne, is just a half-hour’s drive away. See also our partner Rock and Lake winter activities for a short drive.

Cabin Kivitasku and our other cabin, Hiidenkivi, are similar and equipped with the same level. They are only 250 meters away and therefore ideal for the groups, families or a large group of friends.

Pets are allowed.

Rental prices from: € 890 / week and € 393 / weekend. Final cleaning: 100 €. Sheets + towel set 18 €/ person. Pets 50 €/ animal.

During the summer June-August, the minimum stay is 4 days. Arrival day can be any day of the week (midsummer in June makes an exception, minimum stay 5 days). If the rental period is more than a week, please request henna.hiidenniemi@gmail.com. 

Motors for two boats of the cabins are available at an additional cost. Gas motors are 4-stroke type. Request also about electric outboard motor. We recommend that you reserve the motors of your choice at the time of booking if you wish to ensure availability of them. Silver Colibri 20hp rental boat is also available for Hiidenniemi log homes. You can also bring your own boat if you wish. The fishing license without restrictions is included in the price of the cottage. All you need is a personal fishing permit.
Please note, guided fishing trips are possible to start from the cabin shore.

If you prefer active holiday, in summer head in to for example to PuulaGolf yard or dancing on Syväjärvi dance stage. In the winter skiing on Häkärinne skiing center is only an hour drive away from your cabin. You can also find a variety of summer and winter activities in your neighborhood through our partner Rock and Lake.
